This is a new column I'm doing called "How I date." I'd like to start with a disclaimer. The advice in this column is not intended to be a general guide for dating. It's meant to help you understand the ways of dating, and I'm not looking to convert you into a top sexy black men model of dating. I'm trying to help you find the people that suit you best, and to keep you from feeling like you're being set up by a stranger.
This column will feature advice for black girls in Los Angeles, California, and will be updated on a regular basis. I'll also be sharing some of my dating tips, experiences and techniques from the black community in general, and a few specific tips and experiences that might be of interest to black women. The column will be edited by black girls and is meant for entertainment purposes.
The first thing that most black people are accustomed to is black-on-black violence. It's something we can all relate to, and if you've ever been the target of something like that you know the feeling.
Now, let me be clear, I'm not saying that black people aren't human, or even that we don't experience racism. I'm simply saying that this is something that has become increasingly commonplace in our society and that it's not always good for us to live in an atmosphere that perpetuates this kind of hate. So, the fact that I'm going to talk about black-on-black violence is to say that I think it's okay to talk about it and to call attention to it. It's a sign that we're trying to move past these kind of images ebony and ivory dating that have come to dominate our society. But how do you fight this kind of racism when there's so many more white people? I mean, you could say that black people have a much more difficult time getting laid because of their darker skin, but then why the hell are we going to do our best to make sure black women are afforded equal opportunities to date white men? Now, the first thing that most black sexy old black ladies people are accustomed to is black-on-black violence. It's something we can all relate to, and if you've ever been the target of something like that you know the feeling. I mean, even black people, when they're dealing with the police, if they're not white, they know that you can gay black men websites be pulled over, that it will happen very, very quickly and that it will be hard to even tell them to get out of the car. In many African-American communities, even the police are trained to respond with extreme violence. Even when they don't know that you are black, you're still going to get pulled over for being black. So that's the kind of racism that's going on, and it's still rampant, so we should really be focused on it. So, why does it keep happening? When you look at these pictures that the police posted to their Facebook page of white, black and Latino men who are killed by police, the problem is really pretty simple. There's a lot of things that contribute to the reason why black men are being killed by police. So, I want to talk about how we can solve this problem and, in some ways, we can even reverse it. So let's talk about why we see this kind of violence on the streets of the United States and then go over some of the ways in which we can make police more aware of this problem. So, what's it like to be a black man in this country? What kind of racism do you have to face to get killed by a police officer? In 2015, the American Civil Liberties Union estimates that black men were 2.1 times more likely to be killed by police. And it's not just on the street. This is a phenomenon that we can all do something about: the institutional racism of the American police. I've been told by black women that they want the police to be more careful with their use of lethal force. They want more training, more sensitivity and more accountability.
